Akai Professional S2000 Midi Stereo Digital Sampler
Rack-mounted sampler that was introduced by Akai Professional in the late 1990s. It offers 16-bit stereo sampling with a maximum sample rate of 44.1kHz. The S2000 featured a 2U rack design and has eight individual outputs, allowing for flexible routing and mixing options. It had a comprehensive set of editing functions, including time stretching, truncating, and looping. The S2000 also supported SCSI connectivity, enabling users to connect external storage devices for sample storage and retrieval.
